Our Summer Workshop offers students a safe, educational and fun alternative to sitting in front of the TV or with a babysitter. Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM students will rotate through specially geared classes that expose them to all the areas of the arts. Classes students will rotate through include acting, singing, jazz, ballet, tap, music theory, technical theatre, costume design, art, theatre history, stage make-up and other special workshops. A special element of this program is our booked-curriculum and highly qualified staff of educators whose goal is to enrich each student’s life through the arts. Students will explore all the areas of the arts and be able to focus on the areas they excel in most, working on the areas they don’t.
During our four week program, students will use the talents they are learning in class to put together their own fully-staged production of “School House Rock Jr.” under the direction of the staff. “School House Rock Jr.” features fun music such as “Just a Bill”, “Threes the magic number” and “Conjunction junction”. Our fun approach to arts education provides students the tools to follow their dreams, as well as discover new talents they never knew they had. Space is limited and class size is kept small to ensure students are able to learn the information. We hope your student will join us this summer.
