For a great while, Noah Scott has longed for the day where our Music Theatre Program would begin to focus on different parts of Musical Theatre. This up-coming semester we will be offering two styles of Music Theatre Program and allowing our intermediate level students a change to grow in a completely new area.

On April 21st we will be hosting our OPEN HOUSE and MTP Auditions. This day will allow parents to receive information about our classes and workshops as well as allow students to audition for 25 spots in the “Metro Elite” Triple threat Musical Theatre Program.

Metro Elite

“Metro Elite” Will be our premiere level students. These students will receive on-on-one training with the Creative Director, Noah Scott and other guest instructors in all areas of performing. Students will get intense scene and acting lessons as well as audition and performance techniques. Metro Elite requires at least a 2 day a week commitment (Tuesdays and Saturdays) and will require students to not only work on several repertoire pieces but also learn to develop a conisitant Musical Theatre Character. At the end of the semester Metro Elite will prepare and perform a show consisiting of Scenes, monologues, solos, duets and ensemsble pieces at POP CULTURE in downtown Vancouver.

Metro Elite

Musical Theatre Program:

For those not quite ready for Metro Elite will be able to take part in Our musical Theatre Program Featuring a curriculum of Music Theory, acting, Tap, Ballet, Jazz and Vocal Technique). Students will receive solo pieces and work on individual vocal skills in one on one sessions in preparation for a Performance in June 2012. Music Theatre workshop has a commitment of 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for ages 8-12 and Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays for Teens.

Actor’s Workshop:

For students interested in furthering their Acting Skills, we have the perfect Workshop for you. Taught bt Creative Director, Noah Scott our Actor’s Workshop will feature a curriculum of Acting basics to intermediate techniques all actors need to know. Best of all the students will learn to cold read, scene study and perform their own one act play. Space is limited so be sure to e mail us today.

Actor’s Workshop to start in April 2012

Many parents have been asking if Mr. Scott will be offering the students at metro another shot at the Actor’s Workshop. Well he has agreed and we will be offering it for ages 8-12 and Teenagers 13-18. This fun and intensive look at acting allows students to prepare monologues, study scene work and learn the tools to be the greatest actor they can be.

Ages 8-12: Thursdays 5:30-7 PM, April 19- June 14

Teen: Thursdays 7-8:45 PM, April 19- June 14
